Moana 3 – (2026) Disney

Moana 2 (2024) takes fans back to the Pacific islands for another epic adventure, with Moana and Maui teaming up to protect their homeland from new mystical dangers. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the sequel continues Moana’s journey of self-discovery, bringing back Dwayne Johnson as Maui and Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana. The various trailers hint at stunning new locations, mythical creatures, and challenges that test Moana’s courage and Maui’s strength in unexpected ways.

The story begins with Moana now leading her people as chief of Motunui. Her life seems peaceful as she guides her village in honoring their seafaring traditions. However, she begins to sense an imbalance in the ocean and neighboring islands: storms are becoming more violent, sea creatures are acting strangely, and crops are mysteriously failing. Determined to find the cause, Moana sets sail with Maui, whose powers have also started to falter, revealing that something is threatening the very essence of nature.

In their journey, the trailers reveal Moana and Maui discovering new islands filled with rich landscapes and colorful wildlife. They encounter the mischievous, water-dwelling spirits known as “Aumakua,” who hold ancient knowledge about the ocean’s mysteries. The Aumakua reveal that an ancient evil entity, the “Makara,” has awakened and is draining the life force from the seas. As Moana and Maui continue on their quest, they face perilous waters, encounters with hostile spirits, and treacherous island terrain, showcasing breathtaking CGI sequences of storms, underwater scenes, and mystical encounters.

The trailers also highlight Moana’s growth as a leader and warrior. She discovers she possesses her own mystical connection to the ocean, giving her newfound powers that allow her to control water currents. This magic becomes essential when Maui’s hook is damaged in a fierce battle, leaving him temporarily powerless and forcing Moana to take charge.

The final trailer teases an epic confrontation between Moana, Maui, and the Makara, a creature with shifting forms and powerful tides. The fate of the Pacific rests on their victory, and in a climactic scene, Moana calls upon her ancestors for guidance, gaining the strength to restore balance.

With stunning visuals, heartfelt moments, and a thrilling new storyline, Moana 2 promises an emotional and action-packed journey, celebrating resilience, cultural heritage, and the bond between humanity and nature.
